Maja Luxury Ikat Silk Skirt — Handwoven Wrap

The fabric of the Maja luxury ikat silk skirt is handwoven on traditional looms in Uzbekistan, combining centuries-old ikat dyeing techniques with a versatile, wearable silhouette perfect for modern life.

Crafted from a beautiful blend of silk and cotton in earthy tones and blue, the Maja skirt wraps elegantly around the body, creating a fluid and effortlessly chic look.

The sewing is done in our atelier in Berlin.

The vibrant pattern is created using the ancient double ikat technique, where both warp and weft threads are dyed before weaving — a painstaking process mastered by only a handful of artisan families in Central Asia.

Please note that as we use only natural dyes, colours may vary slightly, making each skirt truly one of a kind.
